Police Clearance Certificate
- Applicants who require the Police Clearance Certificate apply in this office. Application should be accompanied with three Photographs, copy of ration card, voter list, copy of passport and sponsoring papers received form the countries to which the applicant intended to go.
- After receipt of the application these are got marked from SSP Faridkot and send to concerned Police Station for verification of character and antecedents. Application are routed through Halqa GOs.
- As and when the applications are received from Halqa GOs it is ensured that statements of 2 prominent persons like Sarpanch, Member Panchayats, Numberdar are recorded verifying officer has written his report, MHC has made the endorsement that he has checked the records of Police Station and SHOs has recommended the application for issue of Police Clearance Certificate. After checking all these formalities, Police Clearance Certificate are prepared an issued under the signature of Sr. Superintendent of Police, Faridkot and entries to this effect are also recorded in the register opened for this purpose. Normally this Police Clearance Certificate is valid for Six Months only.
