Regarding Issues of Arms Licence

1. Passport application are received from Regional Passport Office, Chandigarh in bulk in registered letter.
2. After the receipt of the registry from Regional Passport Office these passport applications are tallied with the list which is enclosed alongwith the passport application.
3. If there is any discrepancy then the observation is refused and if there is no observation then one copy of the list is sent back after signature as a token of receipt.
4. One copy of each application is sent to concerned Police Station after entering in the register and SBP No. is given. Other copies of the applications are sent to Addl. DGP/Intelligence, Punjab, Chandigarh for their verification.
5. After the verification from both sides, passport application is joint and recommendation of the Police Station is studied thoroughly and it is also Chandigarh is also available at each application. It is also ensured that there is no rectification in the verification. Signature of two prominent persons or Sarpanch or Member Panchayat or Number- dar are there. 6. Documents like Ration Card, Voterlist or School certificate are attached with each passport application.
6. When the application are complete in all respect then the stamp of recommendation are imposed on each passport application and signature of authorized officers are obtained.
7. Challan of duly completed passport application are prepared and sent back to Regional Passport Office, Chandigarh.
